Introducing Little Engines

Little Engines is a race broadcast simulator: twenty-two autonomous drivers race for real while you direct the cameras and the booth calls it live. Coming to Steam.

Little Engines is the racing game where you watch it all unfold. It is a race broadcast simulator: a motorsport game where you sit in the director's chair rather than the cockpit, and the drama happens without you touching a pedal.

What you do

Twenty-two autonomous drivers from eleven teams race for real. They qualify, battle, make mistakes and pit when their strategy calls for it. You choose what to watch. Let the broadcast director find the battle and cut to it, or take the cameras yourself and follow any driver from Overhead, Trackside, Chase or Onboard.

A two-voice commentary booth calls it all live. Live timing, tyre wear and team radio keep you on top of every fight, and a late switch to wets can turn a race on its head.

What's in it

  • Forty-three fictional circuits, from harbour fronts to mountain passes
  • Eleven teams and twenty-two drivers, each with their own ratings and temperament
  • Single races or full championships with points, standings and rivalries that persist
  • Soft, medium, hard and wet tyres, pit stops and dry or wet race weekends
  • The Paddock: rename drivers and teams and repaint every livery

Who it's for

If you've ever enjoyed a race more from the sofa than from behind the wheel, this is for you. It's a spectator racing game for people who love the story of a race: the undercut that works, the defence that holds for ten laps, the title that goes down to the last corner.

Little Engines is coming to Steam on Windows, macOS and Linux. The trailer is out now. Sign up for updates to hear first when the Steam page and demo open.
