Privacy

Your email, and nothing else.

This page covers the Little Engines website and its mailing list. Last updated 3 October 2026.

The mailing list

When you sign up, we store your email address, which form you used and the time you signed up. We use it only to send news about Little Engines: the Steam page, the demo, the launch and occasional development updates. We never sell the list or share it for someone else's marketing.

The list is stored on the server that hosts this site. Each new signup also sends a notification containing your email address to our Little Engines inbox through Google Workspace. We may later move the list to an email service so we can send newsletters; if we do, it will be one that processes it only on our behalf, and every email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.

To be removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@littleengines.app or reply to any email from us. We delete your address when you unsubscribe.

The website

The public website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. The private subscriber page uses Google sign-in and essential cookies to verify the owner and keep them signed in for up to seven days. Google sign-in loads only on that private page. To prevent abuse, the server counts sign-ups per network address in memory for one day; the address is not written to the list. The hosting provider may keep standard request logs.

The trailer is a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; after you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

The game

The game keeps your settings, paddock and championships on your own machine. When you give a driver, team or circuit a new name, it sends that name to our server so the commentary can be recorded with it. Nothing else is sent.
